Membership benefits
- Discount of EUR10 for society members to become an individual SIOG Society member. (The regular price of annual membership is reduced by EUR10). A code will be given to society members with an invitation to join SIOG.
- Discount registration to SIOG Annual Conference, SIOG Advanced Courses, SIOG Regional Events and SIOG Preceptorship for all members of the society
- Complimentary meeting room space at SIOG Annual Conference for up to four hours. (Reserving meeting space requires advance request per conference policy and is contingent on available space.)
- Final programme acknowledgement of membership at the SIOG Annual Conference
- Use of the SIOG logo for website and print material to publicise society membership. (Approval is needed from SIOG prior to logo use.)
- One complimentary, educational non-profit booth table at SIOG Annual Conference to display society news, upcoming meetings, society membership information and educational materials.
- One complimentary SIOG regular individual membership for a Society Representative*

In addition, the Society Representative* may on behalf of the member institution:
- Submit articles to the Journal of Geriatric Oncology (JGO), the leading journal specifically dedicated to geriatric oncology;
- Access the Journal of Geriatric Oncology (JGO) - 6 ANNUAL ISSUES;
- Access the Critical reviews in Oncology/Hematology (CROH) - 12 ANNUAL ISSUES;
- Vote at the SIOG General Assembly and elect Board members (This applies to standard, emeritus and special 1 & 2 membership fees only);
- Participate in Expert Task Forces and Expert Working Group;
- Apply to become SIOG National Representative;
- Apply to become SIOG Mentor, member of SIOG Faculty or educational advisor in Geriatric Oncology;
- Apply to organise a SIOG Advanced Course in Geriatric Oncology or a customised course in your institution;
- Acquire support for national/regional Preceptorships in Geriatric Oncology in your institution;
- Subscribe to the SIOG Newsletter and keep abreast of the latest developments in the area of geriatric oncology;
- Receive discounts on selected publications/books (e.g. ESMO Handbook of Geriatric Oncology, and other ESMO Handbooks);
- Enhance networking opportunities to build a strong international coalition in Geriatric Oncology;
- Engage with SIOG activities including its annual conference;
- Represent SIOG at high level meetings in Geriatric Oncology.
Society Membership Fee
- Society - 300€: With one access to the MySIOG membership portal for the Society Representative*
Membership runs for one calendar year, from January 1 to December 31.
