Dear Colleagues,

Surely you have by now realised how many elderly patients you have been dealing with in your busy clinical practice. If you have an interest in optimising your performance and tailoring your treatment plan to every individual patient according to his/her frailty, rather than to the mare anagraphic age, you are welcome to join us in Manchester, for the 12th SIOG International Congress. World-wide renowned opinion leaders will be there for you to share their findings and discuss treatment plans. National Representatives will gather and present a coordinated plan in order to move things forward in line with the “10 Priorities”. Nurses will be involved in the discussion, as well as Charities and all those would have been crucial in bringing Geriatric Oncology from the textbook to clinical practice.

The Congress will be preceded by a one-day event on Basic Science & Translational Research in Geriatric Oncology. We have organised a social dinner to allow the most friendly interaction between delegates and speakers. Special guests, true champions in the field, will be in attendance as well. A number of collateral events will be made available to entertain children and spouses: parks, museums, sport resorts will be made accessible for your family while you’ll be working.
