Academy of Geriatric Cancer Research (AgeCare) is an international Elite Research Center located at Odense University Hospital, Odense, Denmark. The aim of AgeCare is to optimize cancer therapy and supportive care of older cancer patients by doing translational research including basic-, epidemiologic- and clinical research. AgeCare comprise 70 multinational researchers from different cancer-related disciplines. During a 5 year period AgeCare will initiate 17 PhD studies and fund 10 post doc positions. AgeCare will strive to achieve scientific cooperation with other groups and societies interested in older cancer patients, such as the SIOG. GlobalHealthcare Information Network/HIFA
Global Healthcare Information Network (GHI-net) is a non-profit organisation based in the UK, set up in 2005 to launch and administer Healthcare Information For All (HIFA). Healthcare Information For All (HIFA) is a dynamic online global health community and campaign working for a world where every person and every health worker has access to the healthcare information they need to protect their own health and the health of others. HIFA has 20,000 members (health professionals, librarians, publishers, researchers, policymakers, human rights activists and others) in 180 countries, interacting on six virtual discussion forums in four languages (English, French, Portuguese and Spanish). HIFA works closely with the World Health Organization and is officially endorsed by 400 health and development organisations worldwide.

An EU H2020 Research & Innovation Programme, LifeChamps aims at shifting the discrimination barrier for older cancer patients and improving their QoL after treatment through the integration of different clinical and digital tools such as PROMs, PREMs, symptomatic and geriatric measures, mHealth and wearables, machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms for Big Data. LifeChamps is currently developing a novel, sophisticated, and multifaceted clinical decision support tool for a comprehensive geriatric assessment.
